Nature is the real teacher for any artist.What you have to do is, just look at a tree in the sunlight, and imagine and also try to think the light and shadow effect on it.Then draw that tree and put light and shadow to it with all your knowledge.By practising this you will be able to get a clear scene about light shading. How to do graphite painting? Very easy to learn. Step by step.

First of all you have to select a right paper for graphite drawing. Bristol board,buff cartize these papers will be perfect for drawing with graphite.. So let's start drawing. .. ... So first of all you have to do the outlines of that drawing what you want to create. . Then you have to apply first tone which is a very light shading using 2b pencil. Then add details using 4b, 6b and use 8b, 10b for extra darkness. For blending you will need cotton buds or tissu paper or blending stump. For extra details use kneaded eraser or mono tombo eraser or pencil erasers. . Erasing is a very essential part for hyper realism. By following these simple steps you will be able to create your own masterpiece .So all the best.
