Knowledge of essential materials for painting.

Hi guys, today I am going to explain you about some needed materials for drawing .

For the beginners I will suggest you to buy only those things which is needed on that very moment. That means you should not buy advance level things. Always remember that if you are perfect then materials will not matters.. Your skill will matter. 

So, first of all come to the paper.there are lots of papers in market.All of them are made for different uses.Such as you can do water colour on normal carteez paper.

for beginners I will suggest Bristol board for pencil drawing and charcoal drawings.for watercolour I will suggest handmade paper.This paper is best for water colour..And many famous artists use this paper.so these are some papers.

Now coming to acrylic colour..For doing acrylic drawings, actually you can do acrylic painting on any good quality paper.You can do it on handmade paper,on canvas,on Bristol board etc..
But for realistic drawing I,ll suggest you to do it on the canvas.

You can do oil painting on canvas as well as on handmade paper.

OK, so now I will discuss about brushes.
so there are various types of brushes in the market.They also have different features, sizes, and different uses. Types of brushes are.....ROUND, FILBERT, FLAT, FAN, BRIGHT, ANGLE, MCP, RIGGER, ..etc.
Every brush is used for different strokes.

Elephant realistic pencil drawing

Elephant realistic pencil drawing Here I will explain you how you can draw a realistic drawing of elephants very easily. Checkout this video.... First of all lets talk about the materials I have used in this drawing. I have used very basic pencils and erasers. For pencils I have used graphite pencils, such as hb, 2b, 4b, 6b and 10b. I like to use mechanical pencils very much.. So, here also I have used mechanical pencils( 0.5mm) with 2b lead in it, and 0.9mm also. To make it look more realistic you have to erase for fine textures. I have done the same. For erasing I've used kneaded eraser, for fine lines and standard eraser for larger areas. I have used some smooth paper to have a fine texture in it. I have used smooth thik (150gsm) cartreez sheet. Because I feel like I am comfortable with it. And now lets talk about the blending part.
